And now…your moment of zen

There is a 4th grader who has been working with me weekly as I attempt to find a way to cram multiplication and division facts into his head.  One day I told him the answer he gave me to a division problem was wrong.  He tried to argue with me.  (Gotta love it when kids try to argue math, the one subject, at least at that level, that isn’t debatable.)  Anyway, to prove my point, I had him try the problem on a calculator.  When the calculator showed the same answer I’d been saying, the 4th grader responded “The calculator is wrong!!”  Clearly he has a bright future ahead of him as president of the United States.  😉
